Welcome to the 2025 Silver State Indoor World Championships!!

We have the best news EVER!! We are so grateful and excited to be welcomed back to the South Point Hotel and Casino with a new contract starting now!! The 2025 Silver State Indoor Championships will stay at it’s home and we couldn’t be any happier!

I want to make a special shout out and thank you to Mario Gesualdo from MG23 Racing for his support and help in the Silver State race and making sure we have a home at South Point. He is a key player there and has done a lot for us and the race, thank you Mario and family for your support. I might not say it enough and I want you to know I appreciate you.

The SouthPoint arena known as the Prefiert Pavillion is one of the top in the world and is the premier horse facility. We are lucky enough to be one of a handfull of non horse events to be in the pavillion next year. 5 (or possibly more) other events were cut from the 2025 schedule. The hotel and casino say that the R/C group is one of the best! Among many things mentioned in the meetings, the rc racers and group are very respectful to not only the staff but to the facility itself. We don’t cause any problems and we put on an amazing show!!! They love what we do and are excited to have us there! So I want to say thank you to the rc community who attend the Silver State for showing everyone how we roll and what we do!!!  Cheers to that!!!

There are a few changes to next years event. First being the days we are racing, now it is Tuesday thru Saturday. These are the changes that the facility makes to be able to accommodate us. With that being said, we have only ONE day to build the track and set everything up!!!!! We are able to move in on Monday morning and need to ready to race on Tuesday at 8am lol. Myself and the crew have committed to making that happen and we welcome the challenge 🙂 We have one of the most talented, hard working, creative and skilled people on our crew and are confident we will make it happen.

Next on the changes list will be the amount of entries allowed. 2025 will have a 700 entry cap.  I know we have had issues last year with the entry cap and I know it is frustrating to the racers and can understand why.  After last year I have learned how to make sure we have zero problems with this and am 100% confident in our plan. Everyone who has ever attended the Silver State, DNC and any other “TheDirt” event will be on the event e-mail list and receive info and updates to make sure everyone is aware of the entries and the cut-off. All of the teams will be in the loop as well.

We are making the 2025 Silver State a more exclusive event with the 700 cut-off. As we all know there were more that 1,200 entries last year which creates many issues not only for the racers but for our staff and the hotel itself. The entry fee will be $150. per class this year. We are cutting potentially 500 entries but we believe this will make a better event for everyone moving forward.

There will be a 4 class limit on ea driver. You can sign up for no more that 4 classes this year.  This will help allow more drivers to enter the race! If you pre signed up on the early entry discount with more than 4, I will refund you the extra classes no problem! just email to thedirtracing@aol.com
